Terry Griffiths

Terry Griffiths is a retired professional snooker player from Wales who later transitioned into coaching and punditry. He turned professional in 1978 after winning several amateur titles. Griffiths claimed the World Snooker Championship in 1979 and was a finalist in 1988. He completed the Triple Crown by securing victories at the Masters in 1980 and the UK Championship in 1982. Griffiths consistently reached the quarter-finals of the World Championship for nine consecutive years. As a coach, he has worked with top players such as Stephen Hendry, Mark Williams, and Ding Junhui.
