Ian Harold Woosnam, also known as "Woosie," is a celebrated Welsh professional golfer who was an integral part of the renowned "Big Five" group of European golfers. Alongside Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer, and Sandy Lyle, Woosnam played a significant role in elevating Europe's competitiveness in the Ryder Cup. One of his notable accomplishments was securing victory in the 1991 Masters Tournament, a prestigious major championship.
