David Peralta, a Venezuelan professional baseball outfielder, has played for various MLB teams. Starting as a pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, he later transitioned to an outfielder in independent leagues. Making his MLB debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2014, Peralta went on to win the Silver Slugger Award in 2018 and the Gold Glove Award in 2019. He has also played for the Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers, and is currently with the San Diego Padres.
