Elbrus Tedeyev is a Ukrainian wrestler and Olympic champion who won a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He is a three-time world champion in wrestling. Tedeyev also served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine, initially elected in 2006 as an independent politician on the party list of Party of Regions. He was reelected in early parliamentary elections in 2007 and again in 2012.
