Vasyl Lomachenko is a Ukrainian professional boxer who is the current WBA (Super) and 'The Ring' lightweight champion. He had earned the WBO International featherweight title in his first professional fight against José Ramírez, and following his only defeat so far to Orlando Salido in his second fight, won the vacant WBO featherweight title in his third fight against Gary Russell Jr. He then went on to win the WBO super featherweight title in his seventh professional bout against Román Martínez. Lomachenko, who has only appeared in 12 fights so far, is the fastest fighter ever to win three different weight class titles. He won four consecutive super featherweight title defenses via his opponent's retirement, which prompted his recent move to the lightweight division. Known for his exceptional hand speed, timing, accuracy, creativity, athleticism, and footwork, he is being touted as the next boxing superstar. He also won two consecutive Olympics and World Championships during his amateur career with an incredible record of 396 wins and 1 loss.
