Michael X was a self-proclaimed black revolutionary and civil rights activist in 1960s London. He went by various names, such as Michael Abdul Malik and Abdul Malik, and was notorious for his radical perspectives and participation in civil rights causes. In 1972, he was found guilty of murder, resulting in his hanging at Port of Spain's Royal Gaol in 1975. Despite his criminal actions, Michael X made a lasting impression on the activism and revolutionary movements of his era.
