(King) Ekkathat, also known as Borommoracha III, was the 6th monarch of the Ban Phlu Luang dynasty and the final king of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. He reigned from 1758 to 1767. Despite challenges including the impending fall of Ayutthaya and the nickname "King Khiruean" due to a skin condition, Ekkathat displayed strong leadership. Throughout his rule, he worked diligently to maintain stability and address both internal and external threats to the kingdom. Ultimately, Ayutthaya fell in 1767 under his reign.
