Description:
(Politician) Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Busaidi served as the 10th Sultan of Zanzibar from 1960 until his passing in 1963. His reign coincided with a time of growing African nationalism and challenges. Despite facing health issues that resulted in the amputation of both his legs, he continued to rule until his death. Upon his passing, his son Jamshid took over as Sultan but was later removed from power during the Zanzibar Revolution in 1964.
