Ibrahim Hamis Juma

Ibrahim Hamis Juma is a well-known Tanzanian lawyer who has held significant judicial roles in the country. He became a High Court judge in 2008 under President Jakaya Kikwete's administration and was subsequently promoted to the Court of Appeal in 2012. Additionally, Juma chaired the Law Reform Commission of Tanzania. In 2017, he was appointed as the Chief Justice of Tanzania by President John Magufuli, following his tenure as Acting Chief Justice and a justice in the Court of Appeal.
