Ruby Lin Xinru is an accomplished Taiwanese actress who has also made a mark in the showbiz as a singer and TV film and drama producer. Initially this multi-talented diva had no plans of getting into show business and wanted to pursue higher studies in the UK, but she ventured into part-time modelling at seventeen years of age. In the ensuing years she performed in many hit TV series like ‘Beauty's Rival in Palace’, ‘Half Life Fate’ and ‘My Fair Princess’. She forayed into singing in 1999 and has so far released six albums. Her first work as a producer in the TV series ‘The Glamorous Imperial Concubine’ earned her two Best Producer awards. Since then she has produced and acted in several other TV series and a couple of TV films. The daily newspaper Apple Daily (Taiwan) named her the highest-earning Taiwanese drama actress in 2012 and 2013.
