(Taiwanese Taekwondo Athlete) Chu Mu-yen is a celebrated Taiwanese Taekwondo athlete who made history as the first male athlete from Taiwan to secure a gold medal at the Olympics. He achieved this remarkable feat by winning the men's under 58-kilogram class at the Athens 2004 Games. In addition to his Olympic success, he also earned a bronze medal in the same weight class at the 2008 Olympics.
