Piye was an influential ancient Kushite king and the founder of the Twenty-fifth Dynasty of Egypt. He ruled Egypt from the city of Napata in Nubia, modern-day Sudan, from 744 to 714 BC. Piye's reign marked a significant period in Egyptian history, as he successfully unified Upper and Lower Egypt and reinstated traditional Egyptian customs and religious practices. He was known for his military prowess and strategic leadership, as well as his efforts to restore stability and prosperity to the region during his rule.
