Oh Jin-hyek is a highly successful South Korean archer known for his dynamic technique. He joined the Korean national team in 1999 and achieved his first major individual international win at the 2012 Summer Olympics, securing the gold medal in the Men's individual event. Oh made history as the first Korean male archer to win an Olympic individual gold medal. He has excelled in team events as well, finishing third at the 2012 Olympics and winning the Men's Team Gold Medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Oh was the world number one ranked archer from April 2013 to June 2014 and has earned multiple individual medals at prestigious competitions like the Archery World Cup Final and World Championships.
