(South African Cricket Commentator and Former Cricketer) Shaun Pollock is a retired South African cricketer who also currently works as a cricket commentator. He served as captain of the South African cricket team from 2000 to 2003 and was recognized for his talents as a bowling all-rounder. Pollock formed a strong bowling partnership with Allan Donald and represented various teams such as Africa XI, World XI, Dolphins, and Warwickshire. He was named Wisden Cricketer of the Year in 2003 and was a member of the South African team that claimed the 1998 ICC KnockOut Trophy. Pollock retired from international cricket in 2008 and now commentates for SuperSport. He was inducted into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame in November 2021.
