Ján Kollár

Ján Kollár was a Slovak writer, scientist, archaeologist, politician, and priest. Prior to his literary career, Kollár served as a professor at the University of Vienna where he taught Slavic archeology. Ján Kollár is best remembered for his Pan-Slavism ideology, which aimed at promoting the advancement of unity and integrity amongst the Slavic peoples.
