Veronika Velez-Zuzulová is a retired Slovak alpine ski racer known for her expertise in slalom skiing. She began her professional career at a young age and achieved success early on by winning the Trofeo Topolino in Italy at the age of 14. Throughout her career, she was recognized as one of the most accomplished Slovak alpine skiers prior to Petra Vlhová. Velez-Zuzulová received coaching from Timotej Zuzula, Vladimír Kovár, and later her husband Romain Velez. Her contributions to the world of alpine skiing were significant before her retirement.
