James Lebbie, a professional golfer from Sierra Leone and member of the Sierra Leone PGA, has achieved success on Europe's Challenge Tour. He won the 1992 Nigerian Open and multiple Sierra Leone Open titles. Lebbie started playing golf at Freetown Golf Club and later became the Head Professional. Due to the Sierra Leone Civil War, he relocated to the United States to work as a teaching professional. In 2016, he was working as a caddie at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.
