(Singer) Viviane Ndour, also known as Viviane Chidid, is a Senegalese pop singer celebrated as the queen of Senegalese music. She made her debut in 1999, fusing traditional Senegalese mbalax music with elements of U.S. rap, R&B, and Country music. In 2001, Viviane founded the group Le Jolof Band and has since gained acclaim for her diverse discography in Wolof, English, and French. In 2012, she signed with Wonda Music produced by Jerry 'Wonder' Duplessis, resulting in the release of her album in 2015.
