Frank Vandenbroucke was a Belgian professional road racing cyclist known for his success in prestigious races such as Liège–Bastogne–Liège, Grand Tour stages, and Omloop Het Volk. However, his career was overshadowed by drug issues, team conflicts, and struggles with mental health. Despite multiple comeback attempts, his drug use and erratic behavior distanced him from the cycling community. Vandenbroucke tragically passed away at the age of 34 due to a pulmonary embolism.
