(Former Regent of Jordan Who Was the Younger Son of King Abdullah I) Prince Nayef bin Abdullah attended Victoria College in Alexandria and received military training in Turkey. He served as the honorary Aide-de-Camp of the Turkish President Ismet Inönü. Nayef became regent of Jordan in 1951 after the assassination of King Abdullah and ruled until his older half-brother King Talal was ready to resume his duties. He held various responsibilities in Jordan until his passing in 1983.
