Yekaterina Aleksandrovna Gamova is a retired Russian volleyball player renowned for her remarkable height and dominance on the court. She excelled as a key player on the Russian national team, winning gold at the 2006 and 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championships, as well as silver at the Athens 2004 and Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. Known as the "Queen of Volleyball," Gamova, with her towering stature and skills as an outside hitter/opposite, became one of the highest-paid female players in professional volleyball history.
