Sergei Fedorov

Sergei Viktorovich Fedorov, a Russian former professional ice hockey player, spent 13 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings and also played for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Washington Capitals. Fedorov was among the first hockey players to defect from the Soviet Union to join the NHL. He achieved Stanley Cup victories three times with Detroit and received the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL's most valuable player in 1994. Fedorov participated in over 1,200 NHL games, scoring 483 goals, and is recognized as one of the top playoff performers in NHL history. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2015 and the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame in 2016, Fedorov was honored as one of the "100 Greatest NHL Players" in history.
