Jose Alexander Cora is a former MLB infielder who now manages the Boston Red Sox. He played for multiple teams across 14 seasons before moving into coaching. Cora was the bench coach for the Houston Astros during their 2017 World Series win. In 2018, he led the Red Sox to a championship in his debut season as manager, becoming the first Puerto Rican to do so. Cora later returned to manage the Red Sox after serving a suspension related to a sign-stealing scandal.
