Danilo Pereira is a professional footballer who currently plays as a defensive midfielder or centre-back for Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 and the Portugal national team. He started his career at Benfica's youth academy and later played for several clubs on loan before joining Porto in 2015. During his time at Porto, he won two Primeira Liga titles and a Taça de Portugal. In 2020, he moved to Paris Saint-Germain and made a permanent transfer after an initial loan spell. Pereira has represented Portugal in various youth and senior international competitions, notably winning UEFA Euro 2016.
