Sławomir Szmal is a retired Polish handball player with a successful career representing the Poland men's national handball team. He participated in the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 and achieved notable success in the World Championship, winning a silver medal in 2007 and bronze medals in 2009 and 2015. Currently, Szmal serves as the goalkeeping coach for the Polish national team, using his expertise and experience to guide and mentor the next generation of handball players.
