Jose Ricardo Mazo

José Ricardo Mazó, a Paraguayan poet, was a member of prestigious literary academies. He completed his education at the College of San José and the University of Texas at Austin. Mazó worked as an Engineer and Geologist after his studies. He was part of the Promoción del 50, a group of poets who wrote socially engaged poetry during a period of dictatorship in Paraguay. Moreover, Mazó translated lecture notes on Aesthetics by Hegel into Spanish, making a contribution to the field of aesthetics.
