Tahir Zaman, a former Pakistani hockey player, had a distinguished career as both a player and coach. He represented Pakistan in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, where he captained the team. Zaman later transitioned to coaching and participated in the 2002 Commonwealth Games. He also completed the Olympic Solidarity Hockey Coaching Course and played a crucial role in Pakistan's 1994 World Cup victory in Sydney, Australia. Known for his skills as a forward/striker, Zaman was capped 252 times and scored 134 goals during his career.
