(Rally driver) Petter Solberg is a retired Norwegian rally and rallycross driver. He began his World Rally Championship career in 1998 with Ford and later joined the Subaru World Rally Team. Solberg achieved a runner-up finish in 2002, claimed the drivers' world title in 2003, and founded the Petter Solberg World Rally Team with private support after Subaru's exit. He returned to the Ford World Rally Team in 2012 and shifted to rallycross in 2013. Solberg was crowned the FIA World Rallycross Champion in 2014 and 2015 before retiring in 2018.
