Mark Pollock

Mark Pollock, an accomplished international motivational speaker, explorer, and author from Ireland, made history in 2009 by becoming the first blind man to race to the South Pole as part of the South Pole Flag team. Despite challenges stemming from his disability, Pollock showed resilience and achieved fifth place overall in the race. In addition to his exploration achievements, Pollock is an experienced rower, having secured bronze and silver medals at the 2002 Commonwealth Rowing Championships. He is also the author of "Making It Happen" and has played a role in the development of Collaborative Cures.
