Ms. Aïchatou Mindaoudou Souleymane is a prominent Nigerien diplomat and international lawyer. She has held key positions in various international organizations, including serving as the United Nations' Special Representative for Côte d'Ivoire and the Head of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire. Ms. Mindaoudou also served as Minister of Social Development and Foreign Affairs in the Government of Niger. She has been involved in peacekeeping missions in Darfur and Côte d'Ivoire and has been appointed to lead investigations into important global issues, such as claims of sexual exploitation and abuse during the Ebola outbreak in the DRC.
