Mahamane Ousmane is a distinguished Nigerien politician who holds the distinction of being the youngest elected president in Africa. He served as Niger's first democratically elected president until he was removed from power in a military coup. Despite this event, Ousmane has continued to play a significant role in politics, participating in presidential elections and serving as the president of the National Assembly. Presently, he leads the Democratic and Republican Renewal (RDR Tchanji) party, a key opposition political party in Niger.
