Bukola Saraki is a Nigerian politician and medical professional. He was the 13th President of the Nigerian Senate from 2015 to 2019. Saraki initially served as the governor of Kwara State and later represented the Kwara Central Senatorial District in the Senate under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He switched to the PDP after leaving the All Progressives Congress (APC) and contested for the party's presidential nomination in the 2019 election.
