Oswaldo Castillo, also known as Ozzie Castillo, is a Nicaraguan American who transitioned from being a gardener/construction worker to an actor. He sought refuge in the United States in 1986 following traumatic experiences in Nicaragua. Upon settling in Los Angeles, he worked in construction where he met Adam Carolla, leading to a close friendship. Castillo had a role in The Hammer, portraying a character inspired by his real-life construction experiences.
