(23rd President of Nicaragua (1947 - 1950)) Víctor Manuel Román y Reyes, also known as T.V. or Tio Victor, was a prominent Nicaraguan political figure who served as President of Nicaragua from 1947 until his death in 1950. Before assuming the presidency, he held significant positions in the National Congress of Nicaragua, including the presidency of the upper chamber. Román y Reyes, a member of Somoza's Liberal Nationalist Party, was designated by the General Assembly through a coup d'etat.
