(New Zealand Former Rower) Georgina Evers-Swindell is a former New Zealand rower known for her outstanding achievements in the sport. Teaming up with her twin sister Caroline Evers-Swindell, she clinched Olympic gold medals in the double sculls event at both the Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008 Games. Their remarkable performance led to them being honored as the Rowing Female Crew of the Year by FISA in 2005. In 2016, they made history by becoming the first New Zealanders to be awarded the prestigious Thomas Keller Medal by the International Rowing Federation. Georgina currently resides in Napier, New Zealand.
