Zinzan Brooke

Zinzan Brooke, a former New Zealand rugby union player, had a remarkable career as a number eight. He played 58 tests for New Zealand and also participated in 42 non-international matches for the All Blacks. Brooke led the Auckland Blues to victory in the Super 12 championships in 1996 and 1997. He was a pivotal player in Auckland's triumphs in the National Provincial Championship in the late 1980s and 1990s. Brooke achieved a world record for forwards with 17 tries in test matches and represented New Zealand Māori as well.
