Maite Perroni is a noted Mexican actress and singer. Educated at Centro de Educación Artístic, she began her acting career with popular television series ‘Rebelde’, in which she appeared in the role of Guadalupe "Lupita" Fernández. Simultaneously, she launched her music career with RBD, one of the most popular Latin pop groups of our time. She reached the peak of her career within four years, appearing as María de Jesus, in ‘Cuidado con el ángel’, receiving multiple awards for her role, being declared as the ‘New Queen of Telenovelas by Univison. Thereafter, she successfully starred in number of telenovela, most significant of which were ‘Mi Pecado’, ‘Triunfo del Amor’, ‘Cachito de cielo’, ‘La Gata’, ‘Antes muerta que Lichita’ and ‘Papá a toda madre’. She is also equally reputed as a singer with her first solo album, ‘Eclipse de Luna’ debuting in the third position at Amprofon Top 20. Known for her beauty, she was also included in the list of en Español's ’50 Most Beautiful’ for eight consecutive years.
