Craterus

Description: (Macedonian General Under Alexander the Great)
Craterus was a Macedonian general who served under Alexander the Great and was known as one of the Diadochi. He played important roles in key battles such as Issus and the Hydaspes, where he commanded infantry and the rearguard. He led veteran soldiers back to Macedonia and later fought in the Battle of Crannon after sailing to Greece. Craterus formed an alliance with Antigonus and married Antipater's daughter. Unfortunately, his career came to a tragic end in battle against Eumenes in Asia Minor in 321 BC.
