Parmenion was a renowned Macedonian general recognized for his loyalty and strategic acumen while serving under Philip II of Macedon and Alexander the Great. He eventually rose to become Philip's primary military lieutenant and Alexander's top military general, playing a pivotal role in numerous conquests. Parmenion was highly regarded for his exceptional leadership and military expertise. Unfortunately, his professional career came to a tragic end when he was assassinated after his son Philotas was convicted of treason. Additionally, Parmenion's siblings, Asander and Agathon, also held significant positions in Alexander's Macedonia.
