Mahmoud Jibril el-Warfally was a prominent Libyan politician who played a crucial role in the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi and the Libyan Civil War. He served as the interim Prime Minister of Libya for seven and a half months, leading the executive board of the National Transitional Council. Jibril also held the position of Head of International Affairs and later became the leader of the National Forces Alliance, one of the largest political parties in Libya. He was recognized internationally as the legitimate representative of Libya by several key countries and the United Nations.
