(Libyan-American Swimmer) Asmahan Farhat, a Libyan-American swimmer, competed for Libya in the women's 100-meter breaststroke event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She achieved a new personal best time during the competition. Following the Olympics, she furthered her education by attending the University of Florida and ultimately completing the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. In 2016, she graduated as a Doctor of Pharmacy and commenced her professional career at Walgreens.
