Huda Ben Amer is a former Libyan politician known for her loyalty to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. Rising to national prominence after a public execution in 1984, she gained a reputation for ruthlessness, earning the nickname "Huda the Executioner." Despite being despised by many in Benghazi, her actions impressed Gaddafi, leading to her appointment to high government positions. Ben Amer became a favorite of Gaddafi and one of the wealthiest and most powerful women in Libya. She was later arrested during the national uprising in 2011 but did not stand trial.
