Sanita Pušpure is a successful professional rower who has won consecutive world championships in the women's single scull in 2018 and 2019. She began her rowing career representing Latvia at a junior level and later switched to compete for Ireland after gaining Irish nationality in 2011. Although she did not win a medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, she qualified for the event again in 2016. Currently, she is the head coach of UCC Rowing Club in Cork, Ireland, demonstrating her dedication to the sport beyond her own accomplishments.
