(Japanese Judoka) Toshihiko Koga was a highly accomplished Japanese judoka with a 9th-degree black belt and Olympic champion status in the –71 kg and –78 kg divisions. Throughout his career, he achieved numerous awards and championships, including victories at the Kodokan Cup and All-Japan Judo Championships. Koga represented Japan in multiple Olympic Games, winning gold in 1992 despite a serious knee injury. After retiring from competitive judo, he became a respected coach, founding a judo school and coaching successful athletes at various levels.
