(Japanese Formula One Driver) Kamui Kobayashi is a highly accomplished Japanese racing driver with a diverse career in motorsport. He competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Toyota Gazoo Racing, Super Formula for Kids com Team KCMG, and part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series for 23XI Racing. Kobayashi is also a team principal for Toyota Gazoo Racing Europe. Throughout his career, he has competed in various series including Formula One, Formula E, GP2 Series, and GP2 Asia Series. Notable achievements include winning the FIA World Endurance Championship in the 2019–20 season and the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans. Kobayashi has also made history as the third FIA world champion from Japan and the third Asian-born driver to achieve a Formula One podium finish.
