Steve Bucknor

Steve Bucknor is a widely respected figure in the cricket world due to his outstanding career as an international cricket umpire. He officiated a record-breaking 128 Test matches and 181 One Day Internationals between 1989 and 2009, including five consecutive Cricket World Cup finals. Before his umpiring career, Bucknor had experience in football as a player and referee, as well as a mathematics teacher. His significant contributions to sports were acknowledged with the Order of Jamaica, Commander Class, in 2007.
