Deni Avdija is an Israeli professional basketball player who currently plays for the Portland Trail Blazers in the NBA as a small forward. He began his career with Bnei Herzliya Basket and later moved to Maccabi Tel Aviv, where he joined the senior team at the young age of 16. Avdija was awarded the Israeli Basketball Premier League MVP and helped his team secure a championship. In 2020, he entered the NBA draft and was picked by the Washington Wizards. Avdija has also represented the Israeli national basketball team and has excelled in youth competitions, winning two gold medals, including the MVP title at the 2019 FIBA U20 European Championship.
