Uri Bergman is an accomplished Israeli paralympic swimming champion with a wealth of experience in coaching and instruction. He has achieved remarkable success with 15 medals at the Paralympic Games and holds certifications as a swimming instructor, social worker, and psychotherapist. Bergman earned a PhD in psychological rehabilitation and social work and has served in various roles such as a coordinator for swimming and hydrotherapy at Wingate College, a swimming coach at the Sports Center for the Disabled, and head coach for Israeli swimmers participating in the Paralympic Games. In recognition of his contributions, he was honored with the John K. Williams, Jr. International Adapted Aquatics Award in 2000.
