Shafi Goldwasser is a prominent Israeli-American computer scientist recognized for her pioneering research in cryptography and computational complexity theory. She holds the RSA Professorship of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT and serves as a professor of mathematical sciences at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel. Furthermore, she is the director of the Simons Institute for the Theory of Computing at UC Berkeley. Goldwasser is also the co-founder and chief scientist of Duality Technologies, where she continues to advance the field of computer science.
