Sorcha Cusack is an actress from Ireland known for her extensive television work. Over the course of her five-decade-long career, she has accumulated about sixty film and TV credits. A Dublin native, she grew up in a family of actors. As a result, she was exposed to the entertainment industry since she was a child and had always wanted to become an actress. Cusack had her television debut in 1968 in the TV miniseries ‘A HAon is a HAon Sin a Haon’. She debuted on the big screen in Jan Darnley-Smith’s 1978 family fantasy film ‘A Hitch in Time’. Some of her most memorable TV credits are 'Jane Eyre', 'Casualty', 'Coronation Street', and 'Father Brown'. She has portrayed Mary in the musical drama film ‘Angel’, Mum O'Neil in ‘Snatch’, Mrs. McGuire in ‘One of the Hollywood Ten’, Justice Dickie in ‘Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie’, and Aunt Agnes in ‘The Flag’.
